___

Actæon came upon Diana while she was bathing with her nymphs in a pool of water. Surprised and angry at being seen naked, Diana splashes him. Immediately, a pair of antlers grow on his head and he becomes a stag. Actæon flees but is hunted down by his own pack of hunting dogs. Cheered on by his friends, he is killed by the pack.
