British Egg Marketing Board

In September 1967 I started work at the British Egg Marketing Board laboratories.
They were housed in Wingate House, 93-107 Shaftesbury Avenue.
I was employed as a lab assistant. My main responsibility was testing the quality of egg products (powdered egg, liquid egg, etc…)
My boss was Mr. D. E. Thorogood. (Doug?)
I became good friends with John Southwell.
